Nairobi->Mombasa->Seoul->Home

My good buddy and former roommate, Michael, came to visit Seoul on the way home from his semester in Kenya. Mike was only here for about a week, and I think in that time he was mostly just confused and culture-shocked beyond recognition. He has about 36 hours of travel to get back to Kenya to pick up his stuff and head home....WI people please help him in his transition haha.

I love Korean-style roofs.

Chunggyechon Stream

We heard shouting coming from the other end of the stream and went to check it out. This was a pro-war rally in response to the North Korean sinking of the S. Korean ship, Cheonan in the Yellow Sea in March. The man standing with the sign is an evangelist and his sign reads "Jesus"
The slogans used include "Punish the North Korean provokers"
I felt uneasy.

Michael and MiJin in front of the Blue House (Korean "White House") lookin stately.

I'm really glad these two met, and so glad Michael could make a stop over. See you again in Madison.
