Diplomatic Immunity: "It's Just Been Revoked"

Been a long time.

It feels weird to be back in Korea because now it feels like THIS is home, whereas going back over break was a vacation... All in all, i'm tired of living out of a suitcase in life. I'm excited to live in my apartment next year for a solid year, a place to call "Mine" if only for that limited amount of time. Let's just get to pictures...

Love motels. An institution.

I was jetlagged and woke up well before sunrise, so I walked around the Olympic park and Mongchon Fortress at sunrise.

Women Only parking.

The sun was juuuuust creeping over the mountains...

and then my battery ran out :( Stellar!

One day I accompanied MiJin's mom while she went to see her friend's traditional Korean drumming recital.

Cutest little lady on the big gong :D

MiJin's neighbor, Mrs. Park Gwi-Sun. BAMF by trade.

:D

Friend and local tattoo artist, Jin Seok Park (Bleed Out Tattoo) held a concert to promote his business. Part of the event was to have a drawing and give out three free tattoos, I was one of the winners and will get another tattoo in the coming months. I'm thinking it's time I get a Straight Edge tattoo.

Jin Seok's band, Unleashed Anger.

Trash.

MiJin with the ...Whatever That Means Demo CD

Delicate science.

Snow in Seoul...
Snow in Cheolla-do.

Feb. 14th was the Lunar New Year's Day. I went with MiJin's family back to South Cheolla Province to spend the special holiday (the most important in Korea) with her family.

Kwon family Men paying respect to their ancestors.

Food to feed the hungry spirits.

Grandma Kwon! :D

Mrs. Kwon in hanbok :D

Part of the New Year's ritual is to bow to the grandparents of the family.
When we young kids did it, we got money from grandma! haha

So there ya have it. I start classes in another 2 weeks.
